Merritt's Prayer Letter

September 2002

Dear Friends::

Our first month back in the U.K. has been full of blessings plus a time of settling in to our new home and our new ministry. God has been so good to guide us and supply our every need.

We had our Summer Bible School the first full week of August. We had 54 students register plus over 15 teachers and helpers. Sunday Evening, August 11, was our commencement service with 82 present.

Our first month was blessed with an average attendance of 51 for the Morning Worship services and 52 for our Evening Services. Our Sunday School averaged 32 and our mid-week Bible Study and Prayer service averaged 35.

Dorothy has also been real busy setting up house keeping. She was ask to teach the 2 & 3 year olds in our Summer Bible School. She was really blessed to see these little ones learn their Bible verses and know all about the lessons. Plus she volunteered to watch the nursery one Sunday Morning. She also headed up a ladies luncheon on Saturday, August 31. Of course she filled in at the piano several times. She is about to catch her breath just in time for a very busy September.
