Merritt's Prayer Letter

August 2002

Dear Friends::

We are now back in England and have started our new ministry at Alconbury Independent Baptist Church. Our first Sunday was July 28, 2002 and we had over 60 present for the service. Our congregation is 50% American and 50% British. We are located across from a U. S. Air Base so we have the opportunity to ministry to the Base personal as well as residence of England.

We had a wonderful 28 days in the States. Four of our children with our nine grandchildren all got together for a family reunion in Branson. It was a time of great joy as we fellowshipped with our family and watched our grandchildren get acquainted. They had not seen each other for many years.

It was also a very busy 28 days as we were also preparing to return to England and had to decide what we wanted to ship to England and then pack our things for the flight back. Through it all God blessed and we are so thankful to Him for His goodness and mercy.

Again we ask for your prayers and we minister in this new place.
