Prayer Letter
April
2002
We
have a very important prayer request that we would like you to consider.
One of the ladies of our church has a daughter that was diagnosed with
leukemia. After a bone marrow transplant the leukemia went into remission.
We just got word that the leukemia has returned and she cannot have another
transplant. She is a very good Christian girl and is planning her wedding
for the first of June. She has a great testimony for the Lord and is ready
for whatever God has for her. Please pray for her and for Gods will
in her life. Her name is Hiedi.
How
good God is to us. We are rejoicing in all that He has done through us
during this time that we have been in North Wales. His blessings are truly
abundant. We have seen the people of Libanus Baptist Church grow in the
Word of God. It is so great when the Lord confirms your ministry through
those that you are ministering too. Two of our people came to me and thanked
me for teaching them so much. One lady, who was saved a short time before
we came said, now I can find the references in the Bible almost
as fast as you can. I learn something new each time you preach.
We
got a good lesson in the history of England as acouple from the church
took us to York England on a Monday and Tuesday. We went through a village
that is underground that was a Viking village in the 700 A.D. All of York
is history before your eyes. We also went in the largest Church of England.
Believe me it made us rejoicethat we are born again believers and Baptists.
It saddens us to think that so many of the people who pass through that
church is lost. As far as we could find out, there is no real Gospel witness
in York. Pray that God will send someone to that area and establish a
BaptistChurch.
Again
with grateful hearts we say thanks for your support. Please continue to
pray for us also.
Yours in Christ,
Thank you so much.
