Merritt's Prayer Letter

July 2002

Dear Friends::

The Lord is working our lives in such a great way. Last month we wrote that we were finishing our ministry in North Wales and that was true. We did return to the U. S. A. on June 26 but our ministry is not finished in the U. K.

A church in England lost their pastor and has ask us to come and help them so we will be going back to England on the last week of July.

The church is called, Alconbury Independent Baptist Church and is located in a town called Huntingdon. It is about one hour north of London and is in the area of a U. S. Air Force Base. The congregation is 50% Military and 50% British. It is a key church in England and the potential is great. They have a wonderful Missions Program and we want to help them to get even a better vision not only of the world but of that community that the church is in. We really ask for your prayers as we go that God will use us to minister to this church. They have had some problems in the past year and need to heal and we want to help them do just that by teaching the Word of God and loving them so that they can be united in the work of the Lord.
