GOD'S ABUNDANT BLESSINGS
We continue to be amazed and challenged by the way God is working in San Mateo. We are amazed at the number of people the Lord continually brings to our church. We are challenged by the potential we see in the staff God has so graciously provided for us to work with at Abundant Life Baptist Church.
We had our first Ladies Fellowship meeting at Abundant Life last month. We were a little apprehensive, not knowing if people would really respond and come. We were amazed as ladies kept coming in the door. We had 82 in attendance and 25 ladies raised their hands desiring to learn more about what it means to have a personal relationship with Christ. We were able to bring each of them to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. .
The Lord has given us a beautiful home just five minutes (not during traffic times, of course) away from our church. This house is being purchased as a missionary home through the Baptist Bible Fellowship, which means we do not have to worry about signing new leases or having to look for another home to rent in the future.
Our two children, Matt and Mandy, are both attending Bible Colleges in the States. We praise the Lord for the wonderful children He has given us.
I just wanted to thank you all for your prayers, support and all you do for the cause of Missions around the world. But mostly, I want to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for His abundant mercy and for His wonderful gifts to Mark and me.
We are extremely excited to be where we are at this time in our lives, and to have the Lord use us in such a fruitful way. May God richly bless you in all you endeavor to do for Him.
