Dear Praying
Friends,
Hello once again from Cambodia! What
a blessing it is to be back in Southeast Asia! We
missed our people here and we all enjoyed a happy reunion!
Even though I was jet-lagged, I had to
go out and see the new land and the building project. During our furlough,
our Cambodian brethren came up with $15,000 U.S.in order
to buy the land and begin the first stages of construction
on the church and MANNA Center. Now we are about
75% completed! We still lack about $8,800 to finish
everything. We really need your prayers and help
on this! What happens is that when the money runs
out, the work stops. The workers are sent back to
the far-flung provinces from where they came. This
has happened twice already and may happen again. Many of
you told us that you would help with this building. Please,
we cannot let the Lord down and we cannot let these Cambodian
brethren down. They have sacrificed so much to have a place
to worship.
We are starting up a new Vietnamese Bible
study in our neighborhood. Please make that a matter of
earnest prayer. Also pray for my language studies
in both Khmer and Vietnamese. I am preaching some
in Khmer now, but I really covet your prayers for the language
study.
God bless you all! Thank you for your prayers
and financial support!
