The Gotcher Family
Missionaries to the Philippines

Prayer Letter
March 2007

Dear Prayer Partners,

We want to thank you for your prayers for our ministry. Things are going well in Manila and we are thankful that people are being saved each week in our services and various ministries.
Our church in the Philippines just finished their annual Missions Conference.   We were able to take on a new Filipino missionary and his family to the country of Nepal and we had a strong commitment to Faith Promise Missions. We had the privilege of seeing one of the missionary families sent out of Sumulong Baptist Church, Pastor Jojo and Nena Miraflor, here in Springfield in February. They are missionaries in Cambodia and are doing a great job. They have been able to start three churches in Cambodia as well as a Bible Institute. They are here in the States to raise needed funds for ministry and for a reliable vehicle in Cambodia. If you would like to be a blessing to the Miraflor family by helping with their vehicle needs, please send funds marked: Motor Vehicle.

We want to thank you for your prayers for our youth camp; in our last letter, we told you about the Rotary Club of Marikina and their involvement in our camps this year. The Rotary Club will be sending the leaders and officers of the SK youth organizations from various neighborhoods around the city of Marikina. We ask you to continue to pray that these leaders would come to camp and be saved; we are also praying that this will result in many more young people from those neighborhoods coming in 2008. This is a great opportunity to reach into neighborhoods where we haven't been able to go before. We are thankful for those who have already responded to the financial needs for camp. We still need to raise $15,000 for camp. We are trying to raise $15 per camper; we pray you could be involved in this special time that makes an eternal impact in so many young people's lives. Please pray for the following needs and results at camp:

  • Salvation Decisions - pray that the Gospel would be clear and easily understood

  • Surrender to Ministry - we want to continue to see young people to surrender to be pastors, full-time Christian workers and missionaries

  • Financial Needs - $15,000 still needed

We also ask you to continue to pray about our land and building fund, The Legacy Project. We are thankful for the commitments that have already been made. Our goal is to raise $250,000 by May 2008. We have commitments of almost $50,000 so far; we still need to raise $200,000 for this project. We pray that you could be a part of the Legacy Project; please send gifts to:

Thank you for partnering with us to take the Gospel to the Philippines.

In Christ,

The Gotchers
