Prayer Letter

Dear Co Laborers in Christ:

In my last prayer letter I mentioned of the many dangers that some of our missionaries have experienced and the need for prayer.  Now as we read the newspapers, we can't help but realize that much more has happened and our missionaries around the world are in even greater danger along with the converts saved under their ministry.

Of course, we as missionaries are burdened and anxious concerning the situation that we find ourselves in today.  You can imagine the joy that I felt when I received a letter from Peter Ayon, our missionary from our work in the Philippines, who is now in Indonesia and has been for several years.  He e-mailed me that they were safe and as of the present, have not been bothered but realizes this could end any time.  However, he is determined to continue and souls have been saved and his converts are growing.  They have had trouble in the capitol but nothing too serious.  I feel so helpless but I also realize that I can still continue to have a great part in this missionary endeavor as I pray for missionaries around the world.

The church in Tacloban, that has been put through so much persecution, is still going forward and has a mission started out of their church.  They are praying for a permanent pastor since the one they have now is only there part of the time.

Again I would covet your prayers as I still do not have vision in my left eye and have almost constant headaches. However, I still believe God is able and am trusting Him as I try to make plans for this coming year that He will lead and guide me as to what I should do and other things that are coming up. hank you for your continued support and prayers,

By His Matchless Grace
