Praying Friends:
The year 2008 was a busy and fruitful year for Edith and me.
Throughout the year we ministered in in 17 churches. I
preached 81 times in five mission conferences, four men's
fellowships, three anniversaries, a Christian academy, a
missionary retreat (Vietnam), substituting for a missionary
for five months, and the week long Missionary Training
Seminar conducted by Asian Baptist Clearinghouse. The Lord
graciously blessed His Word with sinners saved, saints
revived, and lives committed to Christ.
Seven
couples and one single lady were accepted by ABC in 2008.
There were two resignations. At the end of the year there
were 104 family units (85 couples and 19 singles-189 adults)
using ABC as their clearinghouse. These missionaries are in
33 countries of the world. Please thank God for them and
pray for them.
In June Edith turned 73 and I reached the 75 year mark in
November. We praise the Lord He has given us a good quality
of life and the opportunity to continue serving Him. By May
of 2009 we will reach our golden anniversary as missionaries
of BBFI. What a joy to serve our Lord and our churches! We
love our work and the people to whom God called us.
Edith and I are very thankful that you are holding the ropes
for us through prayer and financial support. Through times
of blessing and times of burden you have been faithful and
we are grateful.
