December 2011

Dear Fellow Saints,

ALL ABOUT US:  Ho, ho, ho, Merry CHRISTmas to all! The best Christmas present we will receive this year; other than the celebration of the birth of our Savior, is the birth of our FIRST grandchild! Tara, our oldest daughter, and her hubby James will have a baby boy in mid December! PTL! Our oldest son Jon and his wife Nicole will also have a baby; our second grandchild, also a boy sometime around April 2012! The blessings of the Lord are “good” & new life is one of HIS best things!

KEEP PRAYING:  Pray for our girls – Tara & Nicole as they go through their first pregnancies; that the Lord’s hand would be upon them. 2. Pray for Samuel as he prepares for final exams in his first semester in college, and that the Lord would bless him. 3. Pray for the new churches our group will plant here and in Southeast Asia in 2012. 4. For BBCAsia with 1033 students this term!

EXCITING EVENTS:  1. Teacher’s camp this fall, “Limitless”, was a great success – 15,625 Public High School Teachers, Administrators, and PTA members attended, 5452 received the Lord as Savior @ camp! 2. Pray for the other upcoming camps in Central Asia soon.    3. Three new churches have launched in the last 5 months in metro-Manila – Pasay City, Cainta Floodway, and Antipolo City. Pray for these new works and for the Lord’s leading as together we plant more new churches.

REST OF OUR NEEDS:  1. Pray that we get our visa status completed soon, we are now over time and over budget. 2. Direction as we seek to expand the Global Surge camp vision to other countries and reach the 1,000,000 camper plateau. 3. In need of a new reliable vehicle for my wife and daughters.

SING PRAISE TO GOD: What a bittersweet delight to see our son Samuel go to college in the USA this last September. Truly it was a great joy to see the Lord’s provision for his education in meeting all his financial needs. Praise to our Lord! Sam’s desire to get connected in a good church and the Navigators on campus is a great answer to prayer; accountability between men looking heavenward is vital.

Praise the Lord,
Roger and Tammy

Thank you for your partnership! Merry Christmas!
Now thanks [be] unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.  2 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)
